Twittering, like blogging, is going to be one of those things that takes me a long time to warm up to. As it stands, (in a very gentle way) I abhor both of these 21st century verbs. Imagine my face cringing up, as if I just walked past a bathroom stall, yes, that’s how I look when I hear someone utter these words. See, for the Twitter to be accepted into my world, I think it just needs to mature a little bit. I think a lot of people react to new technologies and new behaviors this way, and with good reason, that being that the new technologies, especially that falling under the umbrella of Web 2.0, are not really all that necessary.

I suppose, for a select few twitter afficionados, there is a way to make the twitter ‘tweet’ interesting, poetic, profound, much more so than I would be able to, say for example- “Hey, I just ate leg of lamb, isn’t that interesting?” No.

Once in a while, I come up with a one liner that amuses me, but I realize that most of the time, whatever it is I am one lining about, is easily misunderstood by someone I might even consider my best friend. That’s my problem, I am too cryptic. Perhaps, to be prepared for the future, I need to learn how to effectively communicate using only one liners.
